The Nancy Oldfield Trust
The Nancy Oldfield Trust in Norfolk is an organisation that aims to provide access for everyone to the Norfolk Broads. As well as offering boating activities, one activity that they offer is bird watching on the Broads. As well as offering day trips, they also have a fully accessible bungalow that can be hired out to individuals or to groups of up to 10. In order to enable access to all they have specifically adapted boats (motor boats, sailing boats and canoes) that allow access for people with disabilities and mobility issues. They have hoists to further assist with access where required.
For people who book to stay in the bungalow the activities are included in the cost.
Should people have difficulty affording anything offered, they have a bursary fund that can be applied to for assistance with costs, again aiming to make all activities accessible to all.
